  • Significantly longer flight time than batteries
  • Scalable technology to meet a variety of power needs
  • Rapid re-fuel and zero emission

Loughborough, UK – Wednesday 25 April: With flight time remaining the key pain point for the commercial UAV industry, Intelligent Energy will showcase its class-leading fuel cell technology at next week’s (1-3 May) AUVSI Xponential event in Denver (stand number 2526). The Company will be exhibiting at the show, which is the largest of its kind in the US, for the first time.

Intelligent Energy will be displaying its lightweight 650W Fuel Cell Power Module which has been specifically designed for the commercial UAV market and offers considerably longer flight time when compared to traditional batteries. Key benefits include increased productivity, less downtime owing to quick refuelling and increased payload capability.

The Fuel Cell Power Module (FCPM) can be used as a standalone product, or combined with another module to provide up to 1.3kW of power. The FCC compliant product is commercially available and is suitable for a variety of UAVs, including multi-rotor and fixed wing. The module runs on hydrogen and ambient air to produce clean power in a simple, cost effective, robust and lightweight package. It can be integrated into UAV platforms without compromising payload, providing an optimised, operational solution for a wide range of industries.

Also on the stand, Intelligent Energy will be featuring the innovative Jupiter-H2 from FlightWave Aerospace Systems, Inc. Jupiter-H2 was unveiled at InterDrone last year and is the first UAV to be uniquely designed around Intelligent Energy’s FCPM.

Intelligent Energy will have a team of fuel cell and industry experts available on the stand to talk to visitors and to conduct media interviews. If you would like to book a meeting or a media interview either at the show or before, please email debbie.hughes@intelligent-energy.com
