About the Role

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference, driving our internal processes to deliver industry leading, joined up service to our customers.

You will develop, implement, manage and continuously improve our commercial processes and be responsible for all post-sale activities and processes, including warranty management and spares.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of key customers to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained
  • Identify and implement improvements in commercial processes, ensuring they are simple, efficient and scalable to meet the needs of the growing business
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that customer requirements are fully communicated throughout the business
  • Own and manage the CRM tool, to include user rights, lead entry and reporting
  • Provide practical support to the sales team on the negotiation of customer and distributer contracts

About You

You will have:

  • Proven experience of managing commercial activities within a business-to-business technical sales environment
  • Previously developed, implemented and continuously improved commercial processes and systems in a business that is moving from low to high sales volumes
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the formation and application of pricing strategies and the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts with customers
  • A broad level of commercial awareness and understanding of what makes a successful and profitable business
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • The ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively and be an effective verbal and written communicator, comfortable being face to face with senior customers
