About the role

Working as part of our Product Support team, focusing on UAV fuel cell products you will be responsible for application and installation (A&I) support as well as after-sales service. You will resolve customer product issues with deployed Intelligent Energy products.

You will assist our customers to effectively integrate our fuel cell products into their applications and support the field deployed units in these applications.

You will be expected to effectively communicate product user information, manual writing, application notes and ‘how to’ videos.

You will be professional customer facing engineer able to run product demonstrations such as operate, maintain, UAV’s and fuel cell systems.

You will be responsible for remotely diagnosing faults, ensuring products are efficiently processed through warranty repair process and returned to the customer.

Supporting the Sales team, you will assist in securing customer contracts through the provision of technical support and relationship management, guiding customers on all aspects of selecting and integrating our products into their applications.

About you

You will hold a BEng or HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline or a relevant non-degree level qualification with suitable industrial experience

Previous experience in customer facing field service, application and installation is desired, as is practical experience of integrating mechanical and electrical/electronic systems, ideally gained in an industrial environment. 

Ideally you will have UAV build experience FPV UAV / custom multi-rotor builds / fixed wing / VTOL or similar.  UAV operational qualifications such as PfCO recommended or GVC are desirable but not essential.  Pixhawk flight controllers and Ardupilot experience would be favourable.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

You will have a commercial mindset and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.

The salary for this position will be up to £35,000 per annum based on skills and experience.
