About the role

You will perform a broad range of quality assurance duties with the emphasis on inspection and testing.  In addition to inspection and testing of purchased materials and finished goods, duties will also include liaising directly with suppliers and supporting the wider Quality team as required in maintaining the quality management systems documentation, internal quality auditing etc.

You will assist in maintaining the calibration system for all inspection equipment and ensure that inspection and test records are maintained.  You will work closely with design and engineering to establish and document appropriate specifications and generate inspection control plans.

About you

You will have achieved an appropriate level of science or engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, HNC or similar.

You will be trained in inspection and measurement techniques and have proven experience in using a range of measuring equipment and techniques in an engineering environment coupled with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

CMM programming and experience of working with standards is advantageous but not essential.

You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.  You must also be able to work collaboratively with high quality standards and an excellent attention to detail.  You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively. 

What we offer

The salary on offer for this position is up to £28,000 per annum based on skills and experience.

This role is based on site in our Loughborough facility.
