About the role
You will perform a broad range of quality assurance duties with the emphasis on inspection of purchased materials and finished goods against Engineering drawings and relevant ISO standards, using a CMM, OGP and manual measuring equipment. Duties will also include supporting the wider Quality team as required in maintaining the quality management systems documentation, internal quality auditing etc.
You will assist in maintaining the calibration system for all inspection equipment and ensure that inspection and test records are maintained. You will work closely with design and engineering to establish and document appropriate specifications and generate inspection control plans.
You will be trained in inspection and measurement techniques, have a good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and have proven experience in using a range of measuring equipment and techniques in an engineering environment.
CMM programming experience is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.
You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment. You must also be able to work collaboratively with high quality standards and an excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively

This salary on offer for this position based on skills and experience is up to £28,000 per annum.
