About the role

A varied, hands-on line management role planning production and material supply activities in line with new product introduction (NPI) and customer demand to ensure all material is available in a timely and cost-effective manner to achieve committed delivery dates within controlled inventory levels.

You will ensure that effective and efficient material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity.

You will be responsible for planning and purchasing activity, including oversight of the acquisition of non-production goods and services.

About you

You will have extensive experience in materials planning within a complex manufacturing/engineering environment across both NPI and serial production.  You will be an experienced user of ERP systems and processes, ideally IFS.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in timely and accurate reporting.

It is key to us that you have strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.  You will be able to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.  You must also be an effective communicator, with excellent attention to detail and highly analytical.

This salary on offer for this position is up to £47,500 per annum based on skills and experience.
