Intelligent Energy’s zero emission fuel cell products to be showcased at Electrify Europe

Published on Thu 14 June, 2018

  • European debut for 802 and 804 Fuel Cell Modules
  • Clean, quiet and scalable power
  • Easy integration and rapid re-fuel

Media alert, Loughborough, UK – Thursday 14 June: Intelligent Energy will be debuting two new products in its Fuel Cell Module (FCM) range at next week’s Electrify Europe 2018 event (19-21 June) in Vienna, Austria. The 802 and 804 FCMs will be on display for the first time at the event and are the latest developments in the 800 series, which launched last year with the now fully CE certified 801 FCM.

Intelligent Energy’s FCMs are now available in three formats, 801 (1.2kW), 802 (2.4kW) and 804 (4kW). They are modular, easy to integrate and can be scaled to provide power to a range of applications from stationary and portable power generation to welfare cabins, portable lighting towers and Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM). FCMs are an ideal power choice for both urban and remote areas as they are zero emission, near silent, reliable and require minimal maintenance.

Visitors to the show will also be able to see the lightweight 650W Fuel Cell Power Module (FCPM), which has been specifically designed for the commercial UAV market and offers considerably longer flight times when compared to traditional batteries. The product is suitable for a variety of UAVs, including multi-rotor and fixed wing and runs on hydrogen and ambient air to produce clean power in a simple, cost effective, robust, lightweight and rapidly refuellable package.

A team of industry and fuel cell experts from Intelligent Energy will be on hand at the show (stand number A-J39) to talk to visitors about the 800 Series Fuel Cell Modules (FCMs) as well as the Company’s power modules for UAVs. If you would like to book a meeting or a media interview either at the show or before, please email
