He will be speaking in the track entitled ‘New applications of fuel cells’ with a presentation entitled ‘Beyond batteries: Extending UAV flight with hydrogen fuel cells.’
Mr Hayashi will describe the advantages that Intelligent Energy’s class leading compact and lightweight Fuel Cell Power Modules bring to UAV and drone users compared to the use of just battery power alone.

Since this time the company has launched a portfolio of FCC and CE certified products, ranging from 650W up to 2.4kW of power and can offer flight times of over two hours depending on configuration and payload.
Intelligent Energy products have been used in numerous firsts for the UAV market including; a world record breaking flight time of over 12 hours with a South Korean customer and more recently they were used in commercial operations for inspection and detection in the oil and gas industry.
In addition to Mr Hayashi’s presentation at the event, Intelligent Energy products will also be on display at both the Suzuki Shokan (W10-12) and the Teijin Engineering Group (W21-62) exhibition stands at the Expo.
