About the Role

A great opportunity to join a team at the forefront of fuel cell development and to play your part in powering the hydrogen future.

You will apply your FEA expertise to the analysis and design of mechanical components and systems for fuel cell system products covering applications in automotive, aviation, UAVs, materials handling and power generation.

You will develop and report back on multiple structural mechanical models, to direct and iterate product designs, using a high degree of innovation and judgment.

About You

You will hold a BEng, BSc degree (or equivalent) or higher, in a relevant engineering discipline or possess relevant non-degree level qualifications alongside suitable industrial experience.

You will be proficient in linear and non-linear structural analysis, using the Altair Hyperworks platform.

You will be confident in presenting FEA-derived design solutions to a varied audience, using appropriate media.

It is key to us that you have a commercial mindset and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.  You must also be able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team alongside both technical and non-technical colleagues.  As such, excellent communication skills are vital.
