About the Role

A great opportunity to join a team at the forefront of fuel cell development and to play your part in powering the hydrogen future.

As a key member of the of the Procurement and Supply Chain team you will have strong stakeholder management skills to ensure suppliers and supply chains are delivering to meet business needs, supporting new product development projects and volume serial production across a wide selection of categories for direct and indirect goods and services.

You will oversee various supplier relationships, support the development and execution of category management plans and supply delivery plans, supporting supplier selection activity including RFQ/P preparation, management, analysis, negotiation and support contract implementation.

You will take ownership of key strategic and operational work packages, with particular emphasis on new product development project delivery and actively manage supplier performance to achieve business objectives.

You will operate flexibly and seamlessly, from managing strategic and operational objectives, through to actioning transactional activities such as ERP master data management and purchase orders management.

Your support to ongoing process improvements will ensure the supply chain is driven to optimise performance across Quality, Cost, Delivery and Responsiveness.

About You

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and will be a member of CIPS, with commitment to becoming MCIPS. Ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background.

You will have previous buying experience across a variety of direct and indirect categories, with exposure to category management and new product development projects.  You will be able to demonstrate management of supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness, dealing with multiple stakeholders in a complex and varied environment.

It is key to us that you have a commercial and analytical mindset and the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.  You must also be able to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team alongside both technical and non-technical colleagues.  As such, excellent communication and relationship management skills are vital.
