Christchurch Gilbert and Sullivan Society

This year, the Society celebrates its 60th Anniversary. As one of only two remaining G&S societies in the East Midlands, it stages a fully costumed annual production with a 15-piece local orchestra, offering local people high-quality live entertainment.

This year’s production of The Yeomen of the Guard is supported by Intelligent Energy’s Charitable Trust, whose funding will contribute to the cost of hiring the orchestra – a group of talented musicians from the area. Most of these players have been part of the orchestra for many years and feel a close affinity with the group.
