Intelligent Energy joins Hydrogen Council, a global CEO-led initiative

Intelligent Energy joins the Hydrogen Council to support global net zero goals

Loughborough, UK – 27 November 2025 – Intelligent Energy is proud to announce its membership within the Hydrogen Council, a global coalition of companies working to accelerate the role of hydrogen in the clean energy transition.

The Hydrogen Council – the only CEO-led initiative dedicated exclusively to hydrogen – was launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2017.

Formed in recognition of hydrogen’s potential to drive decarbonisation, strengthen energy security and support sustainable economic growth, it began with 13 founding members from the energy, transport and manufacturing sectors. Today, it represents more than 140 multinational companies spanning the entire hydrogen value chain and serves as a unifying voice for the sector worldwide.

The Council acts as a collaborative platform connecting industry, investors and policymakers. It provides independent research and insights, promotes knowledge-sharing and supports the development of hydrogen ecosystems across the globe.

David Woolhouse, CEO of Intelligent Energy, said:

“We’re very pleased to be joining the Hydrogen Council at this exciting time in our industry. We hope our deep and wide expertise in the world of fuel cells can contribute to the good work of the existing members. We are all motivated by the contribution we can make to the planet’s environment, local grid security and the global economy.

Becoming a member reflects our commitment to the industry, and we’re excited to stand alongside global leaders who share our ambition to accelerate the hydrogen economy.”

Join us in powering the hydrogen future®️.
